  How to Apply?
  Step 1
  a. Identify consular jurisdiction and application center based on your present location.
  b. Complete the Online Indian Visa Application Form (IVFRT)
  c. Print and sign the Application form.
  d. Paste the photograph as per the specification.
  e. Fill the BLS Order Form* and take an appointment online.
    * BLS Order Form is mandatory for all applications
  f. Attach all the supporting documents with the application form.
 
  Step 2
  a. Payment is accepted by the way of Cash or Money Order / Cashier’s Check / Banker’s check only. Please note that PERSONAL CHECKS are not acceptable. Please ensure that Money Order / Cashier’s Check / Banker’s Check is made payable in favor of “BLS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES USA INC” . Kindly enclose the photocopy of the Cashier's Check / Money Order / Banker's check also
  b. Visa fee (depends on the service) + ICWF + BLS service fee (USD 4.70).
  c. All applicants are requested to exercise due care while filing the Online Indian Visa Application Form (IVFRT). In case of any mistakes, Applicants are requested to fill the form again.
  d. Application must be submitted at the BLS Center of area of your jurisdiction. It must NOT be sent to the Indian Embassy/Consulates.
  e. Visit the BLS Indian Visa Application Center as per your jurisdiction only at the date and time of the appointment along with the Visa application, Original passport, required fee, required documents and Print-out of the filled BLS Order Form to submit your application and start of processing.

  Step 2

  Step 3
  a. Make sure to paste the shipping label containing the address of the respective BLS Centre on the postal package. The shipping label is generated and emailed after you fill the order form.
  b. Application must be submitted at the BLS Center of area of your jurisdiction. It must NOT be sent to the Indian Embassy/Consulates.
  c. No of applications Prepaid Self Addressed Trackable Envelope Note : If there is a group/family of four applicants and applying for the same service (only Visa or only OCI) applicants can send 1 prepaid return envelope but if they are applying for different services then they need to send different return prepaid envelopes. In 1 envelope we can send only 4 passports; if there are more than four passports we require separate envelopes.
  d. Prepaid Envelope provided for return of the passport : Applicants are requested to utilize FedEx or UPS as preferred mode of return shipment.

At this time all BLS International Services USA locations, are unable to use manual hand written labels from any courier. Please provide a computer generated label from the courier website or retail store with your postal application.
  e. The prepaid envelope provided for return of the passport after processing must have the same address as given on the proof of address.
  f. Applicants must not provide a handwritten or manual UPS or FedEx air bill. Airbills with credit card information, handwritten airbills or blank airbills with information typed in cannot be used by BLS office. All such passports will be held back in BLS office and may lead to delays. BLS strongly recommends using a traceable airbill from FedEx or UPS. BLS also recommends that return shipping package is insured.
  g. Please specify department name outside of the envelope. For Example:- VISA Applicants to mention VISA
  h. Note : Applicants sending additional document/s against an application pending with BLS originally due to lack of sufficient documents must write ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS and DEPARTMENT NAME outside the package envelope along with the original Order Form Number
  i. Please allow 7 – 10 days for processing of your application and the status to be visible on the website once the application is received at the BLS office.
 
     
In case of a lost / misplaced / stolen passport, the liability of BLS International Services is limited to US $ 195 or the actual cost of reissuance of passport whichever is less. The amount is based on US State Government’s website. BLS International Services and its Group Companies or associates shall not be held responsible for any financial charges or loss/damage of any kind whatsoever.
